Awards and Legal Recognition
Mr. Polewski is the recipient of numerous awards and top ratings not only from clients, but also from both major national attorney ratings services.
Mr. Polewski has held the top rating of “superb” in the AVVO rating system, for over a decade, based on professional accomplishments, ethics and reputation among other lawyers. The AVVO rating system is a confidential rating system based on the ratings of other lawyers, judges and clients.
Mr. Polewski is also the recipient – for the last 20 years running – of top ratings in the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review process. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings system, used by legal consumers for over 100 years, is based on the confidential opinions of other lawyers and judges familiar with the lawyer being rated. Respondents are asked to assess the lawyer’s legal ability and ethical standards. Mr. Polewski’s legal skills were rated by other lawyers and judges as “very high to pre-eminent,” and his ethical standards were rated as “very high” – both of which are the top ratings possible.
Due to his success in handling major personal injury cases, Mr. Polewski has an even rarer qualification – membership in the national organization for attorneys who have obtained recoveries for their clients in excess of a million dollars: the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Mr. Polewski also a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates, a national, invitation only organization of the top trial lawyers throughout the United States, founded in 1958.
His qualifications include hundreds of cases handled to completion and settlement, trial experience in dozens of major court cases throughout Texas and Arkansas, and a breadth of knowledge and understanding that only decades of experience handling medical malpractice cases can give.
Board Certified Attorney
Mr. Polewski is certified by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of Texas in Personal Injury Trial Law. This certification, obtained only after a difficult and specialized examination, extensive trial experience and recommendation by other trial lawyers and by trial judges, is by no means a routine accomplishment: less than 3% of all Texas lawyers possess this qualification. The State Bar of Arkansas has no similar board certification process.

"My team believes that unless our clients stand up and insist on justice in their cases, not only will there be no justice--but there will be no change. Medical malpractice lawsuits are how we make sure that doctors don't make the same mistake again" --John Polewski
